Job summary

SJS Recruitment is supporting a leading food manufacturing site in Devon/Torbay to appoint an experienced Technical Manager. The role leads the Technical, Quality and Food Safety function, partnering with Operations to ensure high standards and compliance across a high-care environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical leadership within food manufacturing, with strong HACCP and BRCGS knowledge and an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical, Quality or Food Safety leadership role within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and food safety requirements.
• High-care or high-risk experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety, Quality and Technical standards within a high-care food manufacturing environment.
• Provide strong leadership across the Technical function and work closely with Operations to maintain standards.
• Drive compliance, continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement across the site.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful food manufacturing business, leading the Technical function and driving food safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

We're looking for an experienced Technical Manager who can provide strong leadership across the Technical function while working closely with Operations to ensure standards are consistently maintained. You'll bring strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems, alongside the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.

To be successful, you’ll have experience in a Technical, Quality or Food Safety leadership role within food manufacturing, with strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and food safety requirements. High-care or high-risk experience would be advantageous.
