We are recruiting for a Shift Technical Maintenance Supervisor / Engineer to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a large estate in Manchester. The Shift Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance, supervising maintenance and cleaning contractors. This is a permanent role offering 43-45k (including shift allowance), working a 5/7 night shift from approximately 20:00 to 04:30.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and small works projects
• Plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Electrical work such as lamping and emergency light checks
• Drainage and fabric maintenance duties including basic joinery, painting, and plastering
• L8 prevention and thermostatic mixer valves (TMV)
• General handyperson duties
• Logging jobs via PDA and communicating with the helpdesk
• Liaising with site managers
• Supervising contractors on site, including cleaning teams

Requirements:

• General technical skills such as basic plumbing and electrical work, with some qualifications preferred
• Several years of experience in a similar role with good customer skills
• Supervisory or lead experience
• Overlap with soft services is desirable
• Self-motivated with a positive customer attitude
• Willing to undertake training as required
• Ability to operate building systems effectively and efficiently
• Willingness to pass security checks
