HR GO Recruitment are assisting a well-established UK food manufacturer to hire a Technical Line Operative. You’ll be hands-on with production lines, fault finding and mechanical repairs, keeping lines running on a 4 on/4 off day shift (7am–7pm).

You’ll fix machinery, support line set-ups and changeovers, and work with the engineering team on PPM, quality, HACCP and H&S checks, guiding and coaching fellow operators.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or production; food/FMCG desirable.
• Confident in fixing machinery and carrying out fault finding.
• Hands-on and able to think calmly under pressure.
• Strong communicator who can work across teams.
• Able to take ownership and show leadership.

Aufgaben

• Carry out mechanical fault finding, repairs and adjustments.
• Support line set-ups and changeovers.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and production issues.
• Support preventative maintenance (PPM) and work with the Engineering team.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Complete quality, hygiene, HACCP and H&S checks.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and lead by example.
• Help coach other operators.

TECHNICAL LINE OPERATIVE

We're looking for a Technical Line Operative who enjoys getting stuck in, solving problems and keeping production running smoothly. If you have experience fixing machinery, fault finding or working in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Day Shifts: 4 on/4 off 7am - 7pm

What you'll be doing

As a Technical Line Operative, you'll be the first point of contact when production lines stop, using your mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills to get things moving again.

• Carry out mechanical fault finding, repairs and adjustments
• Support line set-ups and changeovers
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and production issues
• Support PPM and work alongside the Engineering team
• Help identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Complete quality, hygiene, HACCP and H&S checks
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and lead by example
• Help support and coach other operators
