You will lead the full lifecycle of the Training & Competency Tracking and Assessment Tool project, ensuring safety, compliance, and workforce competency across multiple sites. Day-to-day, you will collaborate with teams across the business (e.g., Information Systems & Technology, operational staff, and regulatory bodies), customise learning tools to meet site-specific needs, and evaluate both in-house and external solutions for training and competency tracking. You will oversee piloting and assessment of new platforms, ensuring that safety management systems meet regulatory requirements, while also managing technical collaboration and release management for seamless deployment.

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define and align project scope and objectives.
  • Evaluating and improving technical competency tools to meet safety, legal, and contractual requirements.
  • Leading pilots of non-customised platforms and assessing their operational effectiveness.
  • Identifying and assessing competency solutions for safety and compliance.
  • Coordinating with IS&T and digital teams to implement technical solutions.
  • Overseeing release management to ensure timely software updates.
  • Proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That is why we do not expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we have listed some that we believe will help you succeed and grow in this role:
