We are a twenty-five-year-old company on a journey to becoming a centenary one, driven by aspiration, hunger and humility.

We are looking for humble geniuses, who believe that engineering has the potential to make the impossible, possible; innovators, who are not only inspired by technology and innovation, but also perpetually driven to design, develop, and test as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 customers.

As a team of remarkably diverse engineers, we recognize that what we are really engineering is a brighter future for us all. If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.

The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:

Scope of the role

This role is designed to interpret the customer’s technical enquiry and to design the most cost‑effective overall solution for an HVDC installation utilizing the PES (power electronic solutions), with the objective of minimizing the total cost, and to specify the main (high-value) items of bought-out equipment. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and industrialization of solutions tools and processes. The successful candidate will have proven professional experience and technical expertise in the field of power system engineering.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Network Studies: Confirmation of the correct interaction between the equipment, its control system and the rest of the network. Transient Overvoltage studies, Circuit Current studies, Transient Stability studies, Network studies: Load Flow Studies, Short Circuit Studies, Interaction Studies.
  • Harmonic Analysis and Power Quality: Conducting AC and DC harmonic performance and harmonic stability studies for HVDC converter stations for VSC and LCC HVDC schemes. Radio Frequency Interference studies and Electromagnetic Compatibility studies. Power Line Carrier Interference studies and filters. Design of AC, DC, and High Frequency harmonic filters and screening. Calculations of filter performance and rating. Creation of project-specific equipment specifications for filter reactors/capacitors/resistors.
  • Technical responsibility in areas of expertise.
  • Coordinate the engineering tasks to meet the project/tender requirement.
  • Adherence to company policies, quality procedures and work instructions (through trainings, technical reviews).
