Looking for a role where your technical leadership directly improves lives?

Our client – a well-established digital solutions provider – is seeking a Full Stack Developer Tech Lead to drive engineering excellence across exciting, impactful projects. This is more than just a coding role – it’s your opportunity to mentor, design, innovate, and be part of something meaningful.

Why This Role is Great

  • Lead with Purpose – Guide a team that delivers a platform helping thousands daily, shaping both architecture and delivery.
  • Work with a Modern Tech Stack – Dive into tools including Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python (AWS Lambdas), DynamoDB, and Angular.
  • End-to-End Ownership – From infrastructure (AWS, DevOps, CI/CD) to databases and front-end, you’ll be hands-on across the stack.
  • Agile & Collaborative Culture – Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and pair programming. Share knowledge and shape process improvements.
  • Scale and Performance – Tackle challenges involving high-volume requests, multi-million record databases, and third-party integrations.

About You

You're a developer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real-world difference. In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Build upon your expertise with object-oriented programming (Java, C#, Ruby, etc.).
  • Explore full stack development – from data layers to beautiful, functional interfaces.
  • Enhance your AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps capabilities in a supportive, collaborative team.
  • Embrace the chance to lead projects and help others grow through your mentorship.
  • Be involved in meaningful work that empowers care professionals and supports vulnerable communities.

Your Wishlist of Skills

If you bring experience in some of the following areas, we’d love to hear from you. And if you’re excited by the role but your skills are a little different – get in touch anyway!

  • 2+ years of experience in a full stack or senior developer role.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming such as Ruby, Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, or React.
  • Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS), databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), and DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Passion for mentoring, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality, scalable code.
  • Agile methodology experience, including scrum ceremonies and collaborative planning.

The Perks

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays – with more earned for long service
  • Hybrid working model – work remotely and collaborate in vibrant offices
  • Private Medical Insurance, Dental & Optical cover
  • Enhanced Maternity Leave
  • Birthday day off & Employee Referral Bonus
  • Employee Assistance Programme & ongoing training support
  • Company Pension & Life Assurance
