Job summary

RiverSafe is seeking a hands-on technical leader to bridge security architecture, security engineering, and operational delivery in the UK. You will act as the senior security authority across the organisation, partnering with CTOs, Lead Architects and Engineering Leaders to embed security into technology decisions from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven Security Architecture leadership experience within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong technical background in infrastructure, cloud, networking, software engineering or platform engineering before moving into security architecture.
• Ability to engage, influence and challenge CTOs, Architecture Boards, Lead Architects and senior engineering stakeholders.
• Experience securing hybrid estates spanning AWS, Azure, network infrastructure and bespoke applications.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and implementation levels, balancing architectural direction with pragmatic engineering delivery.
• Experience defining enterprise security standards, patterns, guardrails and reference architectures.

This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days per week in the office
