Job summary

Bet365 in Manchester is seeking a Technical Lead to spearhead a ground-up re-architecture of core platforms, guiding a full-stack team through a migration to Golang, React and cloud-native services. You will mentor engineers, ensure high availability and multi-user support, drive scalable, well-documented solutions, and collaborate with managers and architects to deliver fit-for-purpose systems.

Qualifications

As a Technical Lead, you will spearhead a ground-up re-architecture of our core platforms, turning complex challenges into elegant, high-performance solutions.

The Risk & Regulatory department develops, enhances, and supports business-critical platforms. This full-stack team is currently undertaking a ground-up re-architecture into Golang, React, and Cloud platforms, utilising Kafka, SQL, .Net, and TypeScript.

The role drives the development and implementation of robust regulatory systems, ensuring the highest quality standards for software products. Technical leadership empowers a talented group of developers to innovate and excel in delivering reliable solutions, while fostering a collaborative environment.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience leading development solutions
• Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .Net, Golang or TypeScript
• Effective mentoring and coaching of team members
• Technical documentation skills
• Proven track record in high availability, multi-browser compatible development
• Experience working with high availability, multiuser, service-based systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline
