Job summary

A2Dominion in the UK is recruiting a Technical Lead – Power Platform, Automation & AI within our Business Applications function in Information Technology. This permanent full-time role is based in Ealing with hybrid attendance and a 35-hour work week.

You will lead Power Platform, automation and API integration initiatives, drive DevOps practices, and work with security and governance teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or equivalent professional experience in IT or software engineering.
• Microsoft certification in Power Platform or related technologies.
• Significant experience designing, developing and supporting Power Platform solutions.
• Experience delivering automation and workflow solutions using Power Automate, Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, governance and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of API-led and event-driven integration approaches.
• Strong DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD pipelines and environment management.
• Experience managing complex technical incidents and service restoration.
• Ability to translate solution designs into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management across architecture, engineering and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Power Platform, automation and AI services across the organisation.
• Act as principal technical authority for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and integration technologies.
• Lead development, optimisation and evolution of Power Platform services with security and governance alignment.
• Own enterprise integration services, APIs and middleware ensuring reliable data exchange.
• Lead design and delivery of automation solutions to improve efficiency and transformation.
• Provide third-line support for complex issues and root-cause investigations.
• Manage APIs, connectors and integration services complying with enterprise standards.
• Oversee release management, deployments and service changes.
• Lead DevOps practices including source control and automated deployments.
• Manage relationships with Microsoft, partners and suppliers to meet quality and security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce technical debt and increase standardisation.

Salary: £58,714 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience designing, developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• Proven experience delivering enterprise automation and workflow solutions using technologies such as Power Automate, Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps
• Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, governance and lifecycle management
• Knowledge of modern integration approaches including API-led and event-driven architectures

• Provide third-line support for complex technical issues, leading root-cause investigations and delivering sustainable resolutions
• Lead the management of APIs, connectors and integration services, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards
• Oversee release management, deployments and service changes, ensuring risks are effectively managed
• Lead DevOps practices, including source control, release pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Manage relationships with Microsoft, implementation partners and third-party suppliers, ensuring solutions meet expected standards of quality, security and resilience
• Drive continuous improvement, reducing technical debt and increasing standardisation, reuse and operational efficiency across the technology estate

We are A2Dominion, recruiting for a Technical Lead – Power Platform, Automation & AI within our Business Applications function in Information Technology. This is a permanent full-time role based in Ealing / Hybrid with some office attendance required, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. The salary is £58,714-£65,000 dependent on experience, and the role requires a DBS Level Basic.
