Job summary
The University of Salford seeks a motivated individual to lead the new MPLAcE Multimodal Perception Laboratory. You will design and deploy experimental infrastructure, lead data and coding projects, and collaborate with researchers across industry and academia to maximise impact.

Qualifications
- PhD-level experience in perceptual experimentation and lab work.
- Strong background in experimental design and statistical analysis.
- Experience coding and deploying scientific instrumentation.
- Commitment to ethics in research and user-focused support.
Responsibilities
- Proactively support MPLAcE team to procure, install and commission the lab.
- Act as technical lead for experimental infrastructure and data systems.
- Lead development of coding and data infrastructure for test methodologies.
- Develop networks with internal and external researchers and stakeholders.
- Set milestones, test methods, and documentation to meet KPIs.
