Job summary

RED Engineering Design in London seeks a Technical Lead (Life Cycle Works) to lead the development and coordination of engineering services for data centre and live-critical environments. You will mentor teams, drive project scope, manage stakeholders, and ensure delivery in line with the RED Project Delivery Process.

Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree, chartered status or working towards it, and a track record of asset lifecycle management, safety compliance, and international

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
• 5+ years managing asset and life cycle works in a live critical environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance and facilities management protocols.
• Experience with asset replacement and data centre projects in operational environments.
• Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders – clients, vendors, contractors.
• Understanding of British, European and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and coordination of engineering services for projects.
• Assist Directors with business strategy and management.
• Prepare project fee proposals and feasibility studies.
• Establish project requirements with clients and project teams.
• Mentor and develop younger members of the engineering team.
• Support tendering and procurement of MEP contractors and equipment.
• Ensure project documentation and reports are produced and delivered.
