Job summary

RED ENGINEERING DESIGN LIMITED in London is seeking an Asset Life Cycle Manager to lead engineering project services across the full lifecycle of critical facilities. The role collaborates with clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver robust, compliant building services while driving commercial outcomes.

You should have 5+ years in asset lifecycle management, relevant engineering qualifications, and chartered status or working towards it.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing asset and life cycle works in a live critical environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance and facilities management protocols.
• Experience of specification design and project management for asset replacement and data centre projects in operational environments.
• Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders – clients, vendors, contractors.
• Knowledge of documentation production, procedures, requirements.
• Experience of having managed projects abroad (desirable).
• Understanding of British, European and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Takes leadership role in development, design and coordination of engineering project services. Assists Directors with business strategy and management.
• Carries out feasibility studies and prepares project fee proposals.
• Defines project requirements with clients and project teams.
• Prepares management reports and monitoring documentation.
• Leads on coordination of engineering services and delivery of concept designs.
• Manages risk, financials and project documentation throughout the life cycle.
• Mentors junior engineers and supports business development.
