Technical Lead II, AI Infrastructure - UK/Remote

AI Infra teams at HubSpot play a pivotal role in developing AI/ML solutions that serve a dual mission: providing Product teams with seamless, robust, and scalable Machine Learning solutions, and offering Machine Learning Engineers (MLEs) optimal infrastructure to facilitate their workflows.

As a Technical Lead, you will:

• Lead a small team of 3-4 engineers, emphasizing autonomy and flexibility
• Help set the strategic direction for AI Infrastructure at HubSpot
• Remain hands-on in all technical aspects while leading the team
• Perform code reviews, coaching, and mentoring engineers
• Have coding experience in Java/Python or other backend languages
• Possess familiarity with general ML concepts and a proactive attitude to stay current with industry advancements; preferable exposure to AI Infrastructure at scale
• Exhibit outstanding communication and collaboration skills, effectively influencing stakeholders and building strong cross-functional relationships
• Demonstrate strong ownership of projects end-to-end, with a track record of successfully deploying infrastructure and collaborating with multiple engineering teams
• Prove ability to solve complex technical problems and analyze trade-offs with empathy for customers (SWEs and MLEs)
