Job summary

Frontier Resourcing is seeking a Technical Lead (Systems Engineering) to own the delivery of a flagship Royal Navy simulation programme. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, shape architecture, and drive technical strategy to deliver mission-critical training solutions.

You'll act as the technical authority across the full systems engineering lifecycle, working with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets high-quality

Qualifications

• Strong background in Systems Engineering.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven delivery of complex technical programmes or projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong technical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (must be a UK national).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of a complex Royal Navy simulation programme.
• Act as the primary technical authority, providing leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Own technical decisions throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through integration, testing and acceptance.
• Ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards and programme objectives.
• Lead, mentor and develop engineering teams, driving technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Shape system architecture and influence technical strategy across the programme.
• Manage technical risks and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Support design reviews, customer demonstrations, bids and future capability development.
