Ocean Infinity seeks an ambitious Technical Lead – Data Processing to join the Data Intelligence team as the technical authority for data processing. The role owns the technical direction, quality assurance, and future capability development for data processing services, ensuring robust delivery while driving innovation in seismic workflows and integrated geoscience solutions.

The position bridges current production needs with future‑state architecture, shaping automation and AI in partnership

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in bathymetry data acquisition and processing.
  • Experience across marine, transition zone, seabed, offshore windfarm, pipeline inspection and cable route surveys.
  • Proficiency with DP-software including Caris HIPS & SIPS, Qimera, NaviEdit/NaviModel, Janus, POSPac, NavLab and QGIS.
  • Strong leadership experience in managing and mentoring multidisciplinary data processing teams.
  • Excellent understanding of acquisition technologies, recording systems, and source technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Technical Authority for data acquisition, processing and interpretation.
  • Lead and drive new software and technology development in data processing.
  • Provide mentorship and develop data processors and partner companies.
  • Oversee full project lifecycles from survey design through processing and interpretation.
  • Ensure high technical standards in QC, interpretation, and reporting of geophysical data.
