What you'll do and learn:

  • Lead the technical direction of a cross-functional product team, ensuring sound architectural decisions and alignment with platform strategy.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex features—from discovery and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and observability.

  • Mentor and coach engineers of varying levels, fostering a growth-oriented, collaborative team environment.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to shape roadmaps and make strategic trade-offs that balance quality, speed, and scalability.

  • Drive a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement of development workflows.

  • Advocate for and implement improvements to our testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability processes.

  • Champion best practices in accessibility, security, and performance across frontend and backend codebases.

  • Be a point of contact for system-level debugging, incident response, and operational readiness.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

  • Strong command of full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript technologies including React, Node.js, and GraphQL.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and scaling distributed systems and high-traffic services.

  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, containerization, and modern DevOps practices.

  • Experience in CSS architecture, component-based design systems, and browser performance tuning.

  • Experience balancing product delivery with long-term technical investment and team capability building.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a bias toward action and shared success.
