Job summary

Royal London is seeking a Technical Lead to lead a multidisciplinary engineering squad in Alderley Park, mixing hybrid work with hands-on delivery. You’ll shape technical direction for modern digital services used across adviser-facing platforms and support multiple Royal London business areas.

You will mentor front-end, back-end and testing teams, influence stakeholders, and help grow the Alderley Park engineering capability within the Advisor Experience function.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong technical leadership across front-end, back-end and cloud.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coaching skills.
• Experience in financial services is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering squad.
