Job summary

Royal London is seeking an experienced Lead Web Application Developer to lead the build of a state-of-the-art investments platform. The role focuses on enterprise web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS, with emphasis on modern state management, API integration (GraphQL/REST), and secure, scalable architectures.

The successful candidate will mentor a growing engineering team, work in a hybrid setup at Alderley Park, and contribute to end-to-end SDLC within a multi-year

Qualifications

• Expert in enterprise Web applications development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS.
• Strong experience with state management patterns and libraries.
• Skilled in web app security, authentication and authorization.
• Proficient in API service integration including GraphQL and REST.
• Experience with build pipelines, cloud hosting and deployment strategies including micro-frontends.
• Proven testing expertise and practice in agile software development lifecycle.
• Leadership experience as a development lead and mentor.
