Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in software engineering, with 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in Kotlin or Java, with frontend skills in React.js/TypeScript.
• Background in cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.

Full Stack Tech Lead – InsurTech Hybrid (London ) or Remote UK

We’re working with an InsurTech companythat’s transforming the way insurance is delivered, embedded, and built for today’s digital consumer. Their platform is already powering solutions for major automotive brands across Europe.

The Role:
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll drive technical delivery, shape architecture, and guide a high-performing team of engineers. You’ll work across the full stack using Kotlin, Java, React.js, and TypeScript, with a modern cloud-native setup on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of platform features and services

• Write clean, production-grade code and mentor junior engineers

• Influence architectural decisions and long-term technical direction

• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to align on priorities

• Promote best practices in DevOps (CI/CD, IaC with Terraform, AWS)

Qualifications:

• 8 years’ experience in software engineering, with 2 years in a leadership or senior role

• Strong experience in Kotlin or Java, with solid frontend skills in React.js/TypeScript

• Background in cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
