Compensation: £45,063 / year

Reports to: Technical Services Manager

Location: Field / Remote

Working hours: 40 hours per week, flexible between 08:00am to 18:00pm - Monday to Friday

Yu Smart is seeking a Technical Lead to join our innovative team. As a Technical Lead, you will leverage your technical expertise to support successful and compliant metering works, develop solutions to overcome challenges, and ensure installation performance aligns with industry standards. You will also ensure that field staff's knowledge and understanding fully adhere to business and industry requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring work accuracy to required standards
• Maintaining quality of installations to meet audit targets
• Providing technical support in the field and via support desk
• Conducting in-centre training, assessments, and trade tests
• Facilitating a seamless customer experience for clients
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the field team
• Developing processes and procedures
• Providing out-of-hours support

Qualifications / Experience:

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
• Experience with Three Phase systems

Desirable Skills:

• REGT1 – Medium Pressure regulators
• MET4 (or higher) – Commercial gas metering
• Current Transformer (CT)

Additional Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a colour blindness test
• Pass a DBS check
