Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a Hands-on Technical Lead to drive architecture decisions, mentor a growing engineering team, and shape scalable platforms for a leading fin-tech with UK and Europe reach.

You will work fully remotely across the UK or in the London office as preferred, coordinating closely with the Engineering Manager to maintain high-performance workflows and modernise legacy components.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial development experience.
• Lead / Staff / Principal Engineer experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of containerisation through Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI / CD and Helm.
• Ability to lead a development team.
• Strong communicator within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Remain hands on collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager to be the primary technical lead for the development department
• Lead and assist the team with code and architecture decisions and maintain high end engineering workflows
• Reshape the platform architecture by designing scalable systems and services in order to improve performance and reliability

Hands on Technical Lead - would you like the opportunity to work with one of the leading fin-tech with a presence across the UK and Europe?

The Company

A market leading fin-tech with a presence across UK and Europe. With a distributed team working fully remotely across the UK. You will be joining an established team during an exciting period of growth. You also have the chance to work fully remote or come into the office in London as much as you like.
