Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Inspector to join an established business that has been in operation for 30 years and continues to grow and expand its footprint in the UK.


The right person will be leading the live and post inspections training and carding regarding cavity wall insulation customers, installers, and surveyors.


This opportunity will be mobile, covering Central Scotland/Northumberland.

Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with customers to arrange inspections.
  2. Carry out live and post inspections on customer installs using I-auditor to record results for the new build and retro.
  3. Carry out carding and re-carding of installers and surveyors, including a classroom and onsite section, completing the I-auditor form for the job.
  4. Updating inspection records.
  5. Carry out inspections on behalf of guarantee agencies.
  6. Answer customer technical queries and liaise with customers on remedial works required.
  7. Complete all relevant paperwork and send it to the appropriate team member for processing.
  8. Liaise with the technical and operational teams to deliver a strategy for improving the standards of work within the network.

Training:
  1. Deliver in-house training to colleagues to improve knowledge on inspection and carding processes.
  2. Deliver classroom-based as well as on-the-job training to pass on knowledge, expertise, and best practice sharing.
  3. Actively promote the company's core values in everyday work practices.
