Job summary

Express Recruitment is seeking a Technical ERP Consultant to design and implement ERP workflows and integrate with supporting systems across customer sites. The role involves end-to-end project delivery, technical documentation, and training end users on ERP functionality.

The successful candidate will work with SQL, XML and Java, migrating from on-prem to cloud, with hybrid working options and occasional site visits. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• ERP implementations experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to design technical documentation for solutions.
• Experience migrating from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Job description

Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an independent, well established SaaS Consultancy firm that provide world class ERP manufacturing solutions to a broad customer base across multiple manufacturing industry sectors, including Aerospace and Defence. Due to continued companywide growth, they are seeking the addition of a Technical ERP Consultant to join their team of implementation specialists on a full-time basis.

Their successful candidate will design and implement ERP solutions, working with the firm’s flagship software. They will manage end-to-end implementation projects, alongside designing technical documentation to support solutions and integrations with supporting systems.

In return, you will receive a generous starting salary of up to £60,000 alongside generous benefits including non-contractual performance bonus, company car, hybrid working options, flexible working hours, pension, and a generous holiday scheme.

Please note, this role can accommodate mostly remote working, on the agreement that you will be required to attend customer sites when required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement workflows and add on modules for ERP systems
• Work closely with SQL on integration projects to synchronise the data
• Support customers with technical migration from on prem system to cloud based systems
• Design process documentation supporting complex and scalable custom solutions and system integrations
• Utilise BIRT Report Designer to develop and run multiple reports
• Troubleshoot process, application, and functional issues
• Host online and face to face training sessions to onboard and train new end users
• Provide ad hoc functional support as and when required

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience in delivering multiple ERP implementations, ideally within the manufacturing sector
• Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
• XML and Java experience desirable
• Confident in training multiple end users
• Experienced in migrating systems from on prem to cloud
• Confident building good relationships and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Experience writing and reviewing process documentation and design specifications
• Full UK driving license
