Job summary

UWE Bristol is seeking a Computing Technical Educator to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical learning across computing disciplines. The post holder ensures that technical expertise is embedded within teaching and learning, supporting coherent student learning experiences.

Based on the Frenchay Campus, the role involves collaboration with the Technical Team Lead, development of curriculum inputs, and adopting innovative learning tools and approaches in line with the

Job description

TheSchool of Creative Computing and Technologies at UWE Bristolis seeking aComputing Technical Educator to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical learning across the disciplines and programmes aligned to this role.

Working closely with academic and technical colleagues, the postholder will ensure that technical expertise iseffectively embedded within teaching and learning, supporting the delivery of coherent, inclusive student learning experiences. The role plays a key part in fostering collaboration between technical specialisms and programmes and in establishingclear, consistent frameworksfor technical teaching contributions across learning spaces.

In partnership with theTechnical Team Leadfor the relevant resource area, you will support the development of technical input within Programme and Module materials, contribute toannual curriculum planning, and help identify, develop, and share best practice in technical learning and teaching across the School and wider College community. The role also supports the trialling and adoption of new learning tools and approaches, both traditional and digital.

About you

You will have experience intechnical educational leadership or oversightwithin teaching and learning environments, across both physical and digital spaces.
