About the Role

Our client is a global industry-leading multi-disciplinary consultancy operating across various sectors, including water, residential, commercial, defence, transport infrastructure, energy, and renewables.

They are seeking an Environmental Planning Associate Director or Technical Director to join their Environment, Sustainability & Planning team in the UK, with multiple locations available: Manchester, Leicester, Leeds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects, teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement plans to ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget and standards.
• Coordinate the EIA strategy alongside the Head of Environmental Impact Assessment.
• Prepare comprehensive EIA reports and reviews.
• Experience with DCO coordination is advantageous.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in business development and client management, including exploring new markets, bidding processes, and contract reviews.

Skills & Attributes

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in environmental planning, holding a bachelor's degree in a related field, with a strong technical background, leadership skills, and commercial acumen for business development.
