Job Description

This Platform Development Ad Agency is looking for a Technical Director to join their fast-growing web design and development team where you will be leading on the technical strategy and development, delivering beautiful, cutting-edge web solutions for their clients.

Your role will involve technical direction, pitching & technical planning, team management, mentoring & coaching.

Experience needed:

  • Experience of leading and developing technical teams within an agency environment
  • Strong communicator, be able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and component-based frameworks such as React or Next.js.
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, WordPress (including Gutenberg blocks), headless CMS platforms such as Sanity is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with current CRM, Analytics and cookie tools.
  • Experience of nurturing clients and growing customer accounts.
  • A portfolio of wider development experience is advantageous, such as application development, API integrations, or creative technology projects.

Hybrid working in Central London – 3 days a week
