A fast-growing Manchester-based scale-up is seeking a Technical Director to join their executive team. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the founders to shape business operations, own systems and automation, and drive company-wide process improvements.

About the Role

This is not a product-focused role—it’s about transforming how the business operates. You’ll:

  • Own the technology strategy and operations, building a roadmap of high-impact, scalable improvements.
  • Automate processes and champion an “automation-first” mindset.
  • Build and scale the tech function from a small team.
  • Lead cross-functional change, embedding new processes across teams.
  • Prototype solutions, set system standards, and track business impact through efficiency gains and improved accuracy.
