Exciting Opportunity - Technical Designer - Revit & AutoCAD

Location: Remote (Will need own license)

Hours: Remote

Contract Length: Start early November (Initial 3 months contract)

Rate: £40-£45ph

Are you a technically minded designer looking to bring stories to life through immersive visitor experiences? Join a leading global consultancy specializing in museum, heritage, and cultural exhibition design.

The Role:

You'll be part of a multi-talented Technical Design team, translating creative concepts into detailed construction drawings. Working with a variety of materials and technologies, you'll help shape exhibitions that educate, inspire, and captivate audiences worldwide. Projects span across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, offering opportunities for international collaboration and site visits.

Responsibilities
  • Develop construction intent drawings from conceptual designs using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including joinery, graphics, lighting, AV, and contractors
  • Review and refine construction drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications
  • Contribute to exhibitions from concept through to completion
  • Work across multiple fast-paced projects, providing innovative and practical design solutions
About You
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing and technical design
  • Experience in exhibition, heritage, interior, or architectural design
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software (SketchUp, ArchiCAD, 3DS Max) and 2D software (Photoshop, Illustrator) advantageous
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in technology, AV, and immersive visitor experiences
