Job summary

Michael Taylor Search & Selection Ltd is seeking a Technical Designer to translate creative concepts into buildable technical solutions for commercial interior projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary design team to develop and deliver technical information across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong technical drawing and documentation skills, with a focus on commercial workplace interiors, Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in technical design and project delivery.
• Commercial interior or workplace project experience is essential.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical design information from concept through to construction.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate information with multi-disciplinary teams including MEP and structural specialists.
• Ensure designs comply with Building Regulations and CDM 2015 requirements.
• Support project delivery and site teams during construction.
