Job summary

Acierta in London is seeking an experienced Technical Designer to translate creative concepts into technically viable, production-ready solutions. The role requires hands-on design development for temporary installations, window displays, and bespoke shopfitting projects.

You will produce detailed drawings and 3D models, collaborate with project and production teams, and ensure solutions meet manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical product development.
Experience in industrial, production, manufacturing or shopfitting environments.
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
Degree in Industrial Design Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Translate creative concepts into technically sound and buildable solutions.
Develop technical solutions, including construction systems, details and specifications for manufacturing.
Produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
Prepare clear technical documentation for production and ensure it is interpretable by suppliers and workshops.
Work closely with Project and Production teams, suppliers and workshops during production and installation.
Adapt designs to meet manufacturing requirements.
Contribute to materials and manufacturing process selection and optimization.
Identify opportunities to improve technical solutions, efficiency and buildability.
