We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Design/Architect to join the Data Services team for a high-profile telecoms client. The role will be responsible for the design, performance, and lifecycle management of 3G, 4G, and 5G Standalone (SA) network elements and architectures within the Data Core domain.

Your expertise will drive core network solutions, working closely with stakeholders across Strategy, Architecture, Delivery, and Operations to deliver a high-performing network that meets evolving business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Lifecycle Management: Own the design, performance, and lifecycle of 3G, 4G, and 5GSA elements within the Data Core domain, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
2. Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with Technical Design Authorities to create and prioritize an 18-month technical roadmap for Data Core initiatives, fostering network innovation.
3. Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring technical performance and capacity meet current and future business needs.
4. Project Delivery: Oversee project delivery within your domain, coordinating with project management and third-party vendors to meet contractual obligations and deadlines.
5. Technical Support & Governance: Provide expert technical support to internal teams and suppliers, guiding solution architecture and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
6. Fault Investigation & Maintenance: Collaborate with Operations teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure network and Telco Cloud infrastructure reliability.

Experience Needed:

1. Hands-on experience with 3G, 4G, and 5GSA network architecture, including relevant standards, technologies, regulations, and frameworks.
2. Strong knowledge of 3G, LTE, and 5GSA data networks end-to-end.
3. Understanding of Cloud deployments and onboarding of Data Core.
4. Experience with 3GPP standards, particularly around the EPC core domains.
5. Knowledge of VMware Tanzu, OpenStack, OpenShift, and Kubernetes implementations.
