The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and influential Tech Design Authority to provide strategic technical leadership and governance for our SAP Finance Systems transformation project. Working in SAP Finance Systems Transformation you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, consistency, and future-readiness of the overall solution architecture. The ideal candidate will possess deep SAP technical expertise, a broad understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, and the ability to make critical technical decisions that align with business objectives and architectural principles.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce technical design standards, guidelines, and best practices for the implementation of SAP Finance.
• Review and approve key technical design decisions, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture and project goals.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support in resolving complex technical challenges and roadblocks.
• Ensure the SAP Finance solution aligns with the company's long-term IT strategy and roadmap.
• Contribute to the development of the technology roadmap for the SAP Finance environment.
• Identify and assess potential technical risks associated with the chosen solutions and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and industry’s best practices and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure a cohesive and well-integrated solution.
• Mentor and guide technical team members on SAP best practices and architectural principles.
• Make authoritative technical decisions on critical design aspects, balancing technical feasibility with business requirements.

Your Profile

Essential experience skills/knowledge/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive technical expertise in SAP technologies, with a strong focus on SAP Finance modules and related integration technologies.
• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, such as Lead Architect or Tech Design Authority, on large-scale SAP implementation projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions with significant impact.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability considerations for SAP systems.
• Experience with various SAP deployment models (on-premises, cloud, hybrid).
• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP certifications in relevant areas.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
