Coforge is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager in London to lead large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, stakeholders, budgets, risk, and cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time, on-scope, within-budget delivery with quality. The role requires 12+ years of experience, strong SDLC, cloud platforms, and a track record of delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of IT industry experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in Delivery Management or Program Management roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and programs.
• Drive project planning, estimation, execution, monitoring and governance activities.
• Manage cross-functional teams including BAs, Developers, Test Engineers, Architects, and DevOps.
• Act as primary client and senior stakeholder contact.
• Establish project plans, timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery against commitments.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, issues and escalations.
• Drive delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering reviews and status reporting.
• Collaborate with solution architects on roadmaps and delivery strategies.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, utilization and reporting.
• Ensure deployment, transition and post-production support.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Delivery Manager with 12+ years of experience in delivering large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, budget management, risk mitigation, and ensuring successful execution of technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

The Technical Delivery Manager will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, architects, development teams, testing teams, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and programs.
• Drive project planning, estimation, execution, monitoring, and governance activities.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Test Engineers, Architects, and DevOps teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and senior business stakeholders.
• Establish project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery against agreed commitments.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, issues, and escalation processes.
• Ensure adherence to organizational delivery standards, quality processes, and compliance requirements.
• Drive Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define technical roadmaps and delivery strategies.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, utilization, and financial reporting.
• Ensure successful deployment, transition, and post-production support.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and delivery excellence practices.
• Mentor and coach project managers, team leads, and delivery teams.
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience delivering enterprise applications, cloud solutions, and digital transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern application development practices.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Familiarity with application development technologies including Java, .NET, React, Angular, or similar technologies.

Delivery & Leadership Skills

• Proven track record of managing large-scale programs and multiple project streams.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage distributed and offshore delivery teams.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Delivery Management or Program Management roles.
