Job summary

BT Group in Ipswich is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects within secure customer environments, combining project leadership with stakeholder coordination across multiple teams.

You will manage cloud and data centre solutions, align with timelines, budgets and customer requirements, working with designers, architects, infrastructure specialists and delivery colleagues to turn requirements into outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end technical projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong technical project management or delivery management experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams in a matrix environment.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into delivery plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and governance processes.
• Ability to adapt to multiple delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid).
• Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical projects within secure customer environments.
• Coordinate technical workstreams across infrastructure, applications, support and design teams.
• Review and interpret customer requirements to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies and risks.
• Drive delivery through virtual teams and third-party stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against milestones and contractual commitments.
• Identify and resolve delivery issues and escalate risks.
• Provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support delivery of cloud and data centre environments for specialist requirements.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security and operational standards.
• Manage multiple priorities across a varied project portfolio.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes.
• Produce reporting and management information for senior stakeholders.
• Assist in transition of solutions into operational service.
