Summary

Inform the technical architecture, roadmap, and design of the Microsoft Fabric and related data-centric platforms/solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Report to the Data & Analytics (D&A) Data Engineering Manager to agree on priorities and daily activities.
• Design the technical architecture, roadmap, and scalable solutions for new and existing data-centric solutions on Microsoft Fabric and other platforms, including:
• OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Warehousing, Dataflows & Pipelines
• Metadata and data lineage management
• Data governance and master data management (MDM)
• Integration with on-premise, cloud, and third-party data sources
• Collaborate with the Lead Data Architect and Data Architecture Team to ensure alignment with data architecture standards and models.
• Work with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align designs with enterprise architecture principles and security practices.
• Participate in business workshops to provide technical expertise and assess use case feasibility.
• Assist the D&A Product Manager in prioritizing the backlog in Azure DevOps (ADO) based on established demand criteria.
