What you'll be doing:
You will play an integral part in identifying, supporting and reporting on the success of continuous improvement projects acrossMotor Networks which deliver increased profitability, efficiency and reduced costs in line with our business strategy.
As a Data Analyst you will support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives to deliver a best in class motor repair service to DLG customers, providing expertise across the business to support the delivery of site performance, financial, operational and customer targets.
Working within a high performing, engaged and fully accountable team to support the delivery of all targets, you will support the recommendation of best practice across the business whilst ensuring the company licence to operate is protected throughout operational process & procedures.
Proactively work to build high quality collaborative relationships with DLG Auto Services and the wider DLG business.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with senior stakeholders as a data analyst to the business to define, design and deliver change initiatives and business benefits to achieve strategic goals, such as retail income, cost reduction, process efficiencies.
Achieving and exceed key customer metrics, ensuring that the customer experience is at the heart of everything we do, treating customers fairly at all times.
Partnering with all key stakeholders to identify improvements across Motor Networks and wider (P&U, Finance) through sharing recognised best practice and supporting standardisation.
Supporting transformation initiative squads with key data and information.
Developing and coordinating alongside key stakeholders to identify and deliver insight which can be used to aid continuous improvement.
Actively working as part of the Transformation Team to understand business opportunities and analyse issues to support improved performance in all areas.
Onboarding new initiatives by displaying success outcomes.
Supporting the capturing of benefits, tracking their realisation and documenting organisational learning.
Effective collaboration with Transformation Team members and the wider business to improve effectiveness and profitability.
Identifying and managing the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role, in line with the company risk framework.
Driving consistent and improved system compliance across all networks to ensure we meet our regulatory responsibilities.
Support the development of our people through engagement and feedback to your People Manager.
What you'll need:
General vehicle repair industry knowledge and experience is desirable.
Experience of analysing, understanding, and explaining specific business data and information.
Experience of applying data analysis tools, e.g. Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or others.
Strong numeracy skills and a comprehensive understanding of business drivers.
Strong communication & influencing skills using a range of methods.
Excellent IT skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Competency with a bodyshop management system is desirable.
A high level of attention to detail.
