Job Title: Technical Data Administrator (Maintenance Southern)

Location: Poole

Salary: £24.8k – £29k per annum (Dependent on skills and qualifications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Technical Data Administrator in Southern Maintenance, reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager.

Role Overview: We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here’s how you will contribute:

  1. Processing information:
  • Receiving requests from external parties planning to work near our high pressure (HP) pipelines.
  • Processing these requests on our HP third party works enquiry system, ensuring the safety of our assets and those planning work activities.
  • Supporting administration for our HP Pipelines Landowner Liaison Officer.
  • Communication:
    • Liaising with operational colleagues throughout the team and distributing work.
    • Ensuring external stakeholders are updated through the system or general communication.
  • Other responsibilities:
    • Maintaining records and reports to support the team.
    • Performing general office admin tasks.

    What you will need:

    • Organisational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritise and adapt throughout a busy working day.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to the role.
    • Potential to develop the role with more technical data handling and reporting.
