Technical Coordinator – Buckinghamshire – Residential Developer

My client, a medium-sized residential developer who specialises in new build developments covering various areas in and around London, will be based out of their Buckinghamshire office.

My client is looking to add to their team an assistant or technical coordinator who has 3-4 years’ experience working on new build residential developments and will work closely with the technical director. The role is for a highly motivated and well-organised individual to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with the technical team and other departments during the development process, including checking and amending the working drawing packages, coordinating with the architectural team to ensure packages are delivered on time, and liaising with the commercial and production teams during the development.
Skills & Experiences Required
  • 3-4 years’ residential developer experience on multiple new build developments from inception to completion.
  • Good knowledge of the development/technical design process.
  • Proven knowledge of detailed design for residential schemes using RC frame, traditional and timber frame.
  • Ability to question and query design information across all disciplines.
  • Architectural background and ability to use AutoCAD proficiently.
  • Understanding of statutory requirements, including Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, and Sustainability, with the ability to interpret and negotiate compliance.
  • Ability to understand and interrogate design and project programmes, identifying Critical Paths.
  • Educated to degree level or possess a relevant professional qualification.
  • Ability to communicate with all disciplines at all levels.
  • Well organised and capable of organising others.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage people, processes and time.
  • Strong team player who can communicate effectively.

In return my client can offer a salary of up to £40,000 plus package (Pension, Healthcare, bonuses, holiday, car or car allowance).
