On behalf of our manufacturing client based near Antrim, Energis is currently recruiting for a Technical Coordinator.

As a Technical Co-Ordinator you will play a key role within the technical team generating CAD drawings for the development of new and existing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of CAD drawings for customers and manufacturing requirements
  • Develop CNC programmes for products to manufacture on CNC router and assist in CNC activity
  • Liaise with suppliers of machinery and parts
  • Provide technical advice on products and processes to sales and marketing, also customers when required
  • Management of maintenance software, maintenance scheduling and reports for maintenance KPI’s
  • Assist in tooling R&D testing /assessing new tools/methods of machining profiles
  • Test and analyse trials of a range of different variations for new methods, material and/or processes and report findings whilst ensuring trials result in product conformity and compliance.
  • Involvement in product development for new products in new markets
  • Assist in developing in house procedures, including standardisation and training all relevant personnel.

Criteria:

  • GCSE English and Maths, Grade A – C or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position OR 3 years’ experience in product development / manufacturing or equivalent environment.
  • Excellent AutoCAD ability
  • HND or equivalent in Design, Engineering or Manufacturing related discipline
  • Experience in quality techniques and methodologies

Salary on offer is in the region of £28 – 35k depending upon experience. Benefits include flexible working hours, bonus, healthcare scheme and pension.
