Job summary

An award-winning housing developer is seeking a Technical Co-ordinator to manage and coordinate the external consultant team in their Leeds office. You will play a crucial role throughout project procurement, gaining valuable experience in land, planning, and community engagement. This position offers a starting salary between £40,000 and £55,000, an annual bonus scheme, and a full benefits package that includes private medical cover, retail discounts, 26 days of annual leave, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage community consultations and planning applications.
  • Negotiate planning agreements and clear planning conditions.
  • Oversee design and approval processes for new developments.
  • Prepare for and attend key project meetings.
  • Coordinate design tenders and maintain design programmes.
  • Secure Building Regulations Approvals and manage supplier information.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering team to meet all approval standards.
  • Stay updated on legislation and provide feedback on product designs.
  • Assist the production team and manage design documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve issues for timely completion.

Our client is an award-winning housing developer who are looking to recruit a Technical Co-ordinator for their busy Manchester office.

This exciting opportunity for you to join their Technical Team and play a crucial role in managing and coordinating our external consultant team through all stages of project procurement.

This includes Land & Planning, Commercial, Production, Sales, and Adoptions.

You’ll actively support the Project team and ensure smooth project execution whilst gaining valuable experience on real-world projects.
