Are you an experienced Technical Coordinator with a background in residential construction? Want to work with a reputable developer on high-quality schemes across Surrey and the South East? This could be your next move.

About the Role:

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential developer seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their growing team in Surrey. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating all technical information on residential schemes from planning through to completion, working closely with design consultants, site teams, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate technical design information between consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure all information is in line with current Building Regulations, NHBC/LABC standards, and planning conditions
  • Attend project and design team meetings, ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders
  • Review drawings, specifications, and reports for buildability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness
  • Assist with discharge of planning conditions and obtaining building control approvals
  • Support procurement with technical input for materials and subcontractor packages
  • Monitor progress against design programmes and report on risks or delays
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Technical Coordinator or Design Coordinator role with a housebuilder or residential developer
  • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
  • Experience working on traditional build and/or RC frame residential schemes
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and document management systems desirable
  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering)
