Walker & Sloan Recruitment are working with a bespoke residential contractor who specialise in beautifully crafted new-build homes, barn conversions, and heritage restoration projects across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties.

We are supporting them with the appointment of a Senior / Technical Coordinator to join their growing team and take a key role in delivering technically challenging and design-led residential schemes.

Role Overview:

As a Senior / Technical Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery of multiple residential projects from pre-construction through to handover. This is a client-facing role and ideal for someone who enjoys detail, takes pride in traditional construction, and can bring technical solutions to life through coordination and proactive input.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage design coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Liaise closely with planning and building control officers to ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide technical advice during pre-construction and on-site delivery phases
• Review technical drawings and specifications, resolving any clashes or issues
• Support procurement teams by advising on technical specifications and value engineering
• Ensure all technical aspects align with quality standards, budgets, and timelines

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Technical Coordinator or Design Manager role (residential experience essential)
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and traditional building methods
• Confident working with external consultants and leading meetings
• Good problem-solving ability with a detail-driven mindset
• AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software knowledge would be beneficial
