A unique opportunity to join one of the UKs biggest developers as a Technical Coordinator. Are you from an architectural background looking to transition to a client-facing role? Do you have experience in SAP calculations, Part O assessments, and discharging NHBC conditions?

About the Technical Coordinator role:

  • Ensure compliance with the company's Life of Site processes.
  • Maintain accurate and commercially suitable drawings and details throughout design and construction phases.
  • Coordinate and chair design team meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in site progress meetings as required.
  • Manage the planning process and review planning approvals to meet site start conditions.
  • Define construction specifications, SAP, and BREEAM strategies for projects.
  • Coordinate Building Control submissions and related documentation.
  • Liaise with consultants and attend meetings to advance technical matters.
  • Support Commercial and Buying teams in reviewing subcontractor design information.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design information aligned with client requirements.
  • Maintain cost-effective design control and buildability considerations.
  • Manage all current drawings, documents, and information for new build contracts on the Viewpoint platform.
  • Review contract documentation, warranties, and bonds with the Contracts Manager.
  • Apply for and secure statutory approvals for engineering design and ground remediation.
  • Coordinate temporary works designs.
  • Attend site visits and meetings to resolve construction issues.
  • Anticipate and incorporate new regulatory requirements as needed.
