Job summary

Oliver Rae, based near Walsall, seeks an experienced Technical Contract Review professional to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business.

In this permanent role you will process orders, review customer specifications and drawings, liaise with production planning, and ensure on-time delivery while optimising manufacturing routes and costs.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams, providing technical support and creating inspection plans to meet quality requirements.

Technical Contract Review

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum

Location: Aldridge

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Contract Review professional to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business based near Walsall.

The Role

• Processing new sales orders and selecting the most economical and appropriate manufacturing routes
• Reviewing customer specifications, engineering drawings and technical requirements
• Carrying out contract reviews of sales orders and manufacturing routings
• Providing technical support across the business
• Creating Inspection & Test Plans and MPSs based on customer requirements
• Ensuring all customer technical and quality requirements are fully understood and met
• Working closely with Production Planning to select the best manufacturing route based on capacity and capability
• Dealing directly with customers regarding technical queries
• Liaising with suppliers and procuring raw materials and finished goods where required
• Ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently to maximise production lead time
• Supporting the business in achieving its on-time delivery targets
• Identifying the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing methods for each order

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a technical, sales, sales engineering or quality role within a fastener manufacturing environment.

• Processing orders promptly and accurately, giving production as much available lead time as possible and supporting the company's on-time delivery performance.
