Job Title: Technical Contract Manager

Location: Piccadilly Circus, London

Terms: Permanent contract, Full time - 40 hours per week

Salary/Rate: Up to £70,000 + Package

Requirements:
  • Degree, Diploma, HNC in an Engineering discipline (Desirable)
  • Technical qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential)
  • Membership of relevant professional technical body with chartership (Desirable or willingness to work towards)
  • Must come from a technical background

A well-established maintenance provider renowned for prestigious contracts, currently recruiting a Technical Contracts Manager for a commercial contract in London's West End. The company promotes staff internally and seeks an experienced Contract Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 10, including a Technical Supervisor and M&E Engineers
  • P&L accountability of up to £950k
  • Manage all technical issues and ensure KPI and SLA adherence
  • Oversee company's H&S and environmental performance on site
  • Plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client projects
  • Manage quality procedures and recruitment on site
  • Develop staff technical skills, including annual appraisals
  • Maintain client relationships and manage reports
  • Identify additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
  • Manage permit systems
  • Demonstrate strong technical engineering understanding
Candidate Requirements:
  • Client-facing experience involving direct interaction with clients or customers
  • Experienced FM - Technical Services Manager
  • Proven experience managing P&L
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Technical background in M&E
