Job description

Please note that this role is for a set 12 month contract. At this time, we are only seeking candidates that are centrally located in the UK.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to deliver exceptional consultancy services and software implementation aligned with contractual agreements and customer requirements. In this role, you will analyze non-functional technical requirements, design and deliver integrated solutions that align with business processes, operating systems, and application architectures—ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery. You will serve as a trusted advisor, effectively communicating with customers to support business change through technology and process improvements, while collaborating closely with Project Managers to mitigate risks and uphold governance standards. Maintaining expert knowledge of our products, services, and methodologies, you will also identify commercial opportunities, meet individual revenue and utilization targets, and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, security, quality, and health & safety compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Provide high quality Technical consultancy services to customers achieving operational outcomes and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Implementation of software in line with the contract and statement of work.
  • Analyse and understand non-functional technical requirements ensuring that all products and services meet these requirements and are supportable.
  • Deliver solutions and integrations as per agreed designs on time and on budget.
  • Ensure solutions integrate all parts of the business model including processes, operating systems, and application architectures.
  • Communicate fully with customers regarding requirements and specifications.
  • Support the customer through business change using technology and process improvements.
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of a project and highlight any risks or issues.
  • Maintain a high level of governance; ensure activity reports and stage gates task lists are completed within the SLA.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, product releases, services, methodologies, policies, procedures, and customers.
  • Identify additional commercial opportunities and communicate to the appropriate level.
  • Be accountable for your individual revenue and utilization targets, ensuring these are met in line with the business plan.
  • Promote a positive image of WorkWave and maintain high standards of professional conduct and personal appearance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any other tasks delegated by your Manager to maximize company goals.
  • Identify, seek clarification, and comply with legislative and security policies applicable to the role.
  • Secure data, passwords, documents, physical areas, and property.
  • Report potential and actual security breaches.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology.
  • Familiarity and experience with multiple software programs including SQL, APIs, Postman, Microsoft Stack.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in IT technical consulting.
