Job description

Pro currently has an exciting opportunity to join its Risk Capture team as a Technical Consultant.

The job holder will support the Team Manager and be jointly responsible for meeting all Client service levels, deliverables and deadlines.

Pro operates a hybrid working model and this role will be working mainly from home, with travel to the Gloucester office on a weekly basis, and other hubs on occasion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs. Assist in production of daily and weekly client reports, leading the weekly update calls. Arrange, drive and steer the Monthly and Quarterly Service Delivery and Client Governance meetings.
  • Developing and building upon existing client relationships and being the main point of contact, dealing directly with clients in a collaborative and professional manner.
  • Responsible for analysing quality data and implementing processes and specific training to improve quality and technical understanding
  • Deliver training to new members of the team. Review and produce detailed and robust training plans for in office and remote training
  • Provide hands on technical Quality Control support to ensure the team is achieving client SLA’s.

  • Flexibility – able to help across all services and support the team when needed on RC or QA
  • Confident to challenge the client and make further suggestions for improvement
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to prioritise the workload of the team to meet deadlines.
  • Good corporate financial awareness and pro-active understanding of team utilisation, together with experience of using workflow tools to monitor, measure and act upon performance management information.
  • Good understanding of London market systems and procedures.
  • An understanding of Risk Capture Underwriting market and processes essential.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in the (re)insurance market. Within a Service Provider or an operations leadership role within a Managing Agent desirable.
  • Experience of various Underwriting platforms and document management systems is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills essential.
  • Strong experience in working with Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Essential to be able to maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
