Job Description:

Position: Technical Consultant

Location: Glasgow (hybrid 2 days in the office per week)

Role Overview: We are seeking a Technical Consultant with a well-established background within the renewable energy sector, preferably with engineering or technical experience in offshore and onshore wind sectors.

This position is part of the Renewable Energy team within Business Investor Advisory, specialising in offshore wind and complex renewable portfolio transactions. Beyond transaction advisory, the role will also oversee strategic renewable energy initiatives for key clients, including government agencies, development banks, utilities, and investors.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience within the renewable energy sector, with a preference for offshore and onshore wind experience.
• Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Maths, Aerospace, Physics, or related fields.
• Masters level Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar, with infrastructure investment experience.
• Chartered engineer status or equivalent qualification from a recognised professional institution.
• Experience in due diligence on renewable energy infrastructure assets, ideally offshore and onshore wind projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with a successful project delivery track record.
