Technical Consultant - IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) - Permanent - South Buckinghamshire - up to £50k base

We're seeking a highly skilled and personable Technical Consultant/Field Engineer to join our IT Managed Services Provider client. The role involves leading the delivery of exceptional IT services for their 130+ clients across the Home Counties, London, and Bristol.

The successful candidate will act as a technical champion, providing expert onsite consultancy to a diverse client base, addressing complex challenges, and delivering innovative solutions. Responsibilities include implementing cutting-edge technology solutions such as cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades, conducting thorough IT infrastructure and cybersecurity reviews, leading and delivering challenging technical projects, and ensuring their successful completion.

Requirements include proven experience in IT support and onsite consultancy within a Managed Services environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID), Microsoft Azure (including migrations), modern device management (WVD, Intune, Autopilot), and proficiency in managing on-premise server hardware and software (Exchange, Firewalls, antivirus, backups). Intermediate networking skills are also necessary. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to create project proposals, plans, and IT/cybersecurity reviews, along with experience managing complex IT projects and upgrades. Technical qualifications such as MCSA/MCSE or MCP are advantageous.

The salary range is between £40k and £50k. The role involves travel, either by car or car allowance.

Applicants must reside within 30-40 minutes of the office located in Southern Buckinghamshire and have MSP experience. If you lack MSP experience, you will not be considered for this role.
