The role focuses on pre- and post-loss support for clients regarding their business interruption risk exposures and policy coverage. It involves risk consultancy, modelling exposures, and supporting clients in recovery planning. The role is home-based (remote working).
Principal responsibilities – Pre-Loss – Risk Consulting
Provide risk management advisory to clients on business interruption exposure, including policy coverage, sums insured, indemnity periods, and interdependencies. Model PDBI exposures, including revenue loss, increased costs, and indemnity periods. Tasks include:
In major property damage and business interruption losses, WTW provides claims consultancy to support policy coverage, technical support, and presentation. The forensic accountant works as part of a team, analyzing data, supporting the claim process, and working with insurers and stakeholders to secure fair settlements.
The role involves managing claims with clear terms, working with industry practices, regional units, and cross-functional teams. The forensic accountant will advise clients, facilitate services, and build relationships across the insurance market, including with legal and accounting professionals.
This largely UK-based role requires travel to offices, clients, and loss sites, with occasional overseas travel. The ideal candidate is an experienced forensic accountant with knowledge of business continuity, business interruption claims, and risk management.
